Aim: discuss concept matrix for conept decision making; check current task status

Brief meeting:

• check on status on concept cards (4 each due by today)
• most people had completed
• if not this is a must to complete before week 6 (where we will make a decision about the concept
• all group members to post their concept cards on the blog individually
• team critique assessment
• this is a group assignment, if one of us doesn't submit, none of us gets marked

Actions

• Those who haven't completed all four concept cards, you must do so before week 6 (first week after mid-semester break) there will be other deliverables to complete in week 6 that rely 
• Blackboard link to submit the Google plus critiques will be up until Saturday.  

BodyStorm Activity (week 6)

Heads up about next piece of team critique.  Details will be posted on Google Plus/Blackboard for exact dates.  This is part of the team critique assessment (group assignment).

• BodyStorm final concept
• Film and upload to Google Plus (likely end of week 6)
• Critique two other team videos
• Collect the two critiques from each group member to submit on blackboard
• if one of us doesn't submit, none of us gets marked

Actions

• Decide on final concept by Week 6 class (16 April)

Criteria evaluation framework

Aim: To make a decision about which concept to prototype by next class (week 6, 16 April)

The evaluation criteria will consist of:

• Product brief criteria (experiential, interactive, engaging, innovative, relevant to the airport context, feasible, original)
• How it meets user needs (ie does the product alienate a user group)
• How much research can support the idea/need

Actions

• Lilly to adjust 'concept card assignment' file to include criteria
• All group members to pick 4 concepts (different to the concept cards they developed) and rate or comment on the criteria.  Due by 16 April group meeting.
• File will be in Google Drive at 3.Ideate/Concept Cards
• Note: keep in mind the concept maps, and possible axis, we will choose the top three and concept map them.

Future meetings

• Meeting at 11am on Tuesday 14 April, Group Room 2, Level 2, Duhig North (SSAH Library) (this is the same level that we met at today)(floor plan if needed)
• Meeting at 12pm on Thursday 16 April, Level 2, General Purpose South (NOW IN GROUP ROOM)
